Muscle memory and treats

Posted by cottonmillthreadworks on Saturday, January 29th, 2011

If you keep quilting the same thing over and over you are developing "muscle memory". Now I no longer need to mark my curving arcs in every 2 1/2" square. I'm very optimistic that this quilt will never see the UFO pile!

It was a treat having Heather Stewart bunk out here for the last 2 Fridays. An even bigger treat was what she brought for taste testing. Using gluten-free teff flour supplied by my husband John (who imports teff grain) she created these yummies:

Brownies

Lazy Daisy Cake

Butterscotch Oatmeal Cookies

Carrot Cake

Very, very tasty. And no gluten. Good bye rice flour! Scoot over to Heather's blog for the Carrot Cake recipe.
