King Tut show and share

Heather Stewart kindly responded to my request for photos of quilts using King Tut thread. Here is her striking Double Diamond quilt from a distance:
And a close-up, showing the simple straight-line quilting. It is made slightly more dramatic with the use of a variegated King Tut thread:
Heather's choice was #914 Ramses Red, a combination of red, orange, orchid and bright red. It picks up those colours in the Kaffe Fassett prints beautifully:
