Artist in residence

During the 3 days of the Ottawa Valley Quilt Guild's show 2 "artists in residence" are featured daily. An opportunity to chat with the artist, see the work up close, and in general just to be amazed at what people are doing with fibre. Moments before, these were just 3 spools of thread in my booth. But Cathy Breedyk Law used them to add texture and shading to her trees:

Layer upon layer - fabrics, threads, beads. I could live in this luscious scene!
